Negative experience: For Pickleball on the multisport courts - trees overhang some courts so half the court is covered in leaves and branches; saw someone try to use a sweeper but it didn't seem effective - very little space between courts so there's a chance of running into people, it's always in the back of your mind. - no net or barrier between courts so balls are often rolling or going into other courts - no court number booking so if the courts are still full, you need to ask around to find who should have finished up

Negative experience: for your own good, please don't come here. I came here once, and it was the most unpleasant experience ever. When I came, someone was on my court and they said they had booked the court, but I also booked it, which proves the unorganised organisation. there was no staff as well. Don't come

Negative experience: I have came here for the past 2 years and the service used to be great. But when I came here last month and I have been wanting to write a review ever since. I think they changed companies of who owns this place which is why there has been a lot of bad reviews lately. The place has become really messy and lots of people's bookings for either court hire or classes has been messed up. It would be nice if the new company can get stop messing up these bookings and tennis classes because it wastes peoples time. Thankyou.

Fantastic experience: I went to play padel for the first time this week with my office colleagues, and honestly, bahut maza aaya! It was a very enjoyable and refreshing experience. Special thanks to Mr. Alex he was very helpful and polite. He explained the rules clearly showed us how to play, and even came later to check on us and shared some useful tips. Really appreciated his support. We are definitely planning to come back again soon, Thank you!

Negative experience: gosh! Guys if you're looking to learn at a centre, do NOT come here. It's just a waste of your time, money, and more. This place's facility is TRASH and the location is hard to find. It took us so long to find and the quality of the courts are so bad- like even the staff are no help. It was such a waste of time just searching for it. In addition, the lighting is really bad in most of the courts, so if you booked a court at night, you can barely see anything. Their tennis rackets are also all broken! The price is also too high- $35 for an HOUR is insane!! We got overcharged and theres no refund. NO REFUND. It's honestly so bad i cant even P.S not to mention it stinks.. like its literally a pigsty in there

Negative experience: This place is soooo hard to find, unless you have been there before, and there are sticks and tree roots at the back of all the courts with trees next to them. The courts are also very slippery and the doors to each court are realllyyy hard to open, so many people leave them open, but then the tennis balls roll out the door and you have to run around trying to find them. What a waste of time! The lighting is really bad in some of the courts, so if you booked a court at night, it's really hard to see! And, they don't give refunds if you miss your court, which is really annoying if it is raining or you just can't come.

Negative experience: If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. This is an incredibly hard place to find, it said it was open, but when we got there It was closed. Couldn't contact this place whatsoever and didn't reply to my emails. Do NOT go here!!!

Negative experience: Horrific tennis courts for a ridiculously high price- $35 is insane for an hour. The lighting was terrible, and the tennis courts had dead spots all over. We got overcharged- still no refund. I would recommend going to abuklea road tennis courts instead- it’s cheaper and the courts are so much better.

Negative experience: This place is in an extremely difficult place to find, I had to go back and forth for a while, as well as the courts not being great to play on. The markings were confusing and booking the courts were useless, people just take your court even if you have booked it. Their tennis rackets are all broken and the lighting is extremely poor. Staff also don’t help at all. Not a good experience. p.s. they refuse to give refunds!!

Negative experience: Pickleball noise can be heard from far away. And they open till late, extremely disturbing for the surrounding neighborhood.

Negative experience: Imposters. Avoid this people, I have been trying 2 months to get a refund and they are avoiding doing so with the most ridiculous excuses. The one padel match we actually played there was a disaster. The receptionist was sleeping and opened the complex late and the rackets they gave us were all broken. I have never experienced somebody that unprofessional. AVOID EDIT: I have spoken to your team numerous times and they are the ones playing me. Two years later I haven't received my money back.

Positive experience: The tennis pickle ball courts are not separated and as a result balls often find there way onto the adjoining courts. BE CAREFUL NOT TO STEP ON A BALL AND HURT YOURSELF.

Negative experience: While the court hire cost might be lower, the overall experience is pretty poor. This facility suffers from significant disorganisation. The confusing pickleball lines overlaid on existing markings make gameplay difficult. Court booking is ineffective, as players disregard court booking on the instructions of the staff and play at any court that's available, leading to constant uncertainty about where to play and frequent interruptions to ask others to move. Yesterday's experience was particularly poor, with a large group hosting games and their numerous spectators consistently encroaching on our court, disrupting play. We lost approximately 15 minutes of our 60-minute booking dealing with this lack of court management. Staff mostly is absent and do not care about these issues.

Negative experience: This rating is specifically for Tennis Court 4 Synth grass. At night with basketball or pickleball going on, you cannot see the ball at one end of the court due to the bright lights outside the court.

Positive experience: Confusing lines for Pickleball, with no back barrier and too little space between the repurposed tennis courts

Negative experience: Tennis Courts are pretty poor, and def not worth the $35/hr price- some are wrinkled, all are multisport. Lighting is terrible on synthetic courts.

Negative experience: The lighting at these courts is horrendous. $35 for an hour and you can’t even play properly. Advised by the staff member that there was nothing they could do and the lights would be fixed soon. Reviews from 8 months ago indicate that this has been an issue since then. Go to other local courts instead.

Fantastic experience: My son does tennis camp every school holidays and it has improved his confidence and skills. He’s had private coaching with Yvonne which has really improved his technique and she goes out of her way to give helpful advice.

Fantastic experience: More than 2 years learning tennis in North Ryde Tennis World. Plenty standardized courts for different ages. High experienced couches plus staff here are nice to everyone.

Negative experience: Courts are okay but do not get any racquet work done here. Can’t believe the state of the Regrip; wasn’t cut to taper, tape was put on the racquet poorly and left a lip in the grip and overhangs at the bottom of the grip. Just piss poor attention to detail

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this place to play tennis, pickle ball and padel. Staff were friendly and hard courts were newly renovated. They also have a group tennis class for beginner which I joined. It was Yvonne and Gareth that thought me how to play tennis at my old age and now I’m competing UTR because of them thats why this place is very special to me. They also have tennis, pickle ball social and Padel tournament if you are looking for one.

Fantastic experience: Tennis World North Ryde has friendly staff. I enjoy playing pickle ball there with my family where you can hire rackets and the balls. Great environment and lots of fun.

Positive experience: Hard to find the place at the first time. The entrance is on the highway very easy to miss. The facilities and the cafe are good.

Fantastic experience: I had a sudden urge to play tennis today and wanted a lesson. So I called TWNR and they managed to organise a same day personal lesson for me. I am 45 years old and an absolute novice when it comes to tennis. By the end of my one hour lesson I feel more confident in being able to hit the ball over the net and not over the back fence. Thank you and I will be back soon for my next lesson.

Positive experience: Used to come here loads but in the last year or so they repainted the courts and removed fences separating courts which is quite inconvenient when you book a private court and the ball goes over to other courts

Negative experience: I use to compete in tournaments here as a kid. It's a shame that all of the courts have now turned into multi purpose courts with linings marked all over the place. Not a good venue for any tennis enthusiast.

Negative experience: Don't play tennis here. Really bad lighting. Very poor synthetic grass surface which is dangerous. Have played on free courts that are in better condition.

Fantastic experience: Great school holiday camp program for kids

Negative experience: Avoid. Dim lighting on synthetic courts, tennis courts have slopes built in them and pickle ball, football and basketball lines drawn all over..damn confusing. Not worth the $$ per hour, much better courts cost by and elsewhere.

Negative experience: I have nothing positive to say about the synthetic grass courts here, especially if you're a competitive player or play UTR matches. Even after winning my UTR match here I thought it was completely unfair to my opponent or anyone who plays on these courts that they're still operating and taking people's money. They are completely unplayable and should be closed down until the courts and lighting is fixed. After playing at over 15 tennis centres in Sydney this one hands down takes the cake for: - The WORST lighting - TERRIBLE line markings - DEAD spots all over The audacity to charge almost $60 for 2hrs is unbelievable. The managers also know how bad these courts are because it's so blatantly obvious. They should be closed down until new lights are installed and dark netting put up on the north and south fences and new matting laid with new line markings. Unfortunately they'll just keep taking money from people as the majority of income will come from their hard courts and pickleball courts which are very well lit,

Negative experience: This place sucks. The courts make you fall over due to the slipperiness, there are tree roots everywhere and it is very inconvenient to access.

Fantastic experience: Very nice facilities at a good price. Will be back.

Positive experience: The court has recently upgraded. Find Yvonne is very kind and professional. But sometimes feel the courts covered with leaves, bugs as it is very brushy around the centre. Overall is good centre

Negative experience: What a joke

Negative experience: at the night, the 4 synthetic courts are impossible to play with, the lights are too dark, specially with 2 broken lights, while all other courts (the basketball courts opposite and pedal tennis courts) are so bright, so hard to see the balls traveling on those 4 courts, even the council tennis court is better than them. Based on the conversation with staff members, they knew all about these, but they didnt mention to the clients before the booking or doing anything to improve situation. On those synthetic tennis courts there are net ball court markings on them. There are enough sands on courts for you to slide, but you can't slide due to those marker, otherwise you may fall. The staff said they multiple sports center, however they should have consider players safety 1st.

Fantastic experience: Five stars but it'd be great if your courts were open from 6AM

Positive experience: Really hard to find the entrance and the driveway and parking spot was so bad and in terrible condition but the courts were nice and clean very busy and the staff are so helpful and lovely.

Negative experience: Sat Morning hit. Pros - Recently resurfaced hard courts - Synthetic AND hard courts to choose from - Club house Cons - Visibility of balls - Grass courts lumpy in some areas. - Multi purpose courts, so difficult to see the lines. - If you come during coaching times, be prepared to have tennis balls come across and interrupt play. - Debris from overhanging pine trees on court. - $68 for 2 hours in the morning. (Quite high imo. More than SOP) Will I come again? ....

Fantastic experience: I love the adult group lessons to practice my tennis rally. The coach didn't tell much about the skills, so it's not very suitable to the very beginners, but it is good for people who know how to play tennis and just want to practice.

Fantastic experience: I have been here at night. It is very good and popular place. People are playing different sports. It is wonderful place to go. I have been playing tennis here and they also renovated tennis courts. I definitely recommend this place to go.

Fantastic experience: Had a lovely time playing Padel today. The courts are in great condition and the staff are very friendly.

Positive experience: Great facilities for outdoor only tennis and paddle tennis. No undercover seating near courts. Parking is limited and full of dirt and rocks. Only road access from one side of a busy street. Apparently, they might be converting the whole area to undercover which could make this a great place to visit all year round.

Positive experience: Great facility but more shade needed

Negative experience: The Good: Courts are well kept. Pickleball courts are really new and seem great. The Not So Good: Court 7 at night has to be the worst. The lights from the pickleball courts are much lower than the tennis court lights. This mean playing on the side facing the pickleball court, it becomes almost impossible to see the ball. In fact, it makes you feel really nauseous. Car park surface horrible for any car other than a SUV or 4WD. I know it's been raining lately but this is really not well kept or considered. These courts have been at Nth Ryde for decades so they must be offering some great services... but as a first time visitor, I don't think I'll be back. Prefer other courts like Ryde or Parra City for the price.

Fantastic experience: Always go there for training, great place with good customer service.

Positive experience: Quite a large tennis complex, directly opposite to Officeworks Ryde at Epping Road. Entrance from Epping road can be quite hidden to most. If you don't know where the place is as Epping road traffic are normally quick fast, you might miss it. Tennis complex consists of numbers of tennis courts and padel courts for hire and tennis lesson with coach available. There's also a cafe + office but it definitely not my cuppa tea. However, getting information wise, I personally found to be difficult.

Positive experience: Good place. Nice people. Just need a covered court for the rain.

Negative experience: Don’t send your kids to the holiday program. Feedback was mean coaches who were careless. Worst experience for the kids. One of the coaches hit a ball with a racket while kids were picking up a ball in the court and told it was stupid place to stand there. Why hit the ball in the first place when the kid was on the way?? Also a coach hit a kid in the stomach with a ball and the kid started crying. We will pursue investigation on this. Doesn’t seem like this place deserves to run a holiday program for kids

Fantastic experience: If I were to pick a world, the complex would definitely resemble Tennis World

Negative experience: Had booked a evening slot one week in advance only to be called the day prior to our booking that the court I had paid for needed to be given to a coach. I wasn't happy as it ruined my friend and my schedule for the week but agreed to a refund. It's been many weeks now and I still have not been refunded my money. Continuously chasing up and being promised a refund every time - never got it. Theft at it's finest.

Positive experience: Some courts are poorly kept… booking system doesn’t mean much due to trainers taking whatever court they want and push you to a damage court

Positive experience: If I was rating our Tennis coach Gareth only, I could easily give 5 stars. But the lights of the Paddle court blend to such an extent that I need to wear sunnies at night time to see the tennis ball. And for those courts which are impacted by the light, I pay the same amount as for the ones further away on which I dont wear sunnies at night time. I dont get it. I am not the only one who struggles with vision under these conditions. Frustrating to experience that nothing is done.

Negative experience: Consistent poor booking and management experience - systems down, place is locked up early despite bookings, only expensive booking options online. Padel courts themselves are great but $120 for a 90min off peak session is ridiculous. Used to be half price on a Sunday - frankly not worth it.

Negative experience: Had a really poor experience on the 23/01/21 and would NOT recommend other casual players book here. My friends and I had overplayed by 30 mins and were greeted really poorly (and arrogantly) by the staff, who said it was our responsibility to keep track of the time, and because we hadn't, had to pay extra. Would love to have been given the courtesy of knowing our time is up, rather than letting us play on, only to be charged later. Very sneaky way of making an extra dollar. Also note that there was only one other court was being used at the time, so the staff's justification of "it's not my responsibility and I have a lot of other things to do" seemed weak at best. Staff was quick to mention "they were a business", so my warning to anyone reading is, they are not very lenient with time, especially if it means they'll earn the extra buck!

Fantastic experience: Liam is the best coach ever. His nickname was Supreme Leader Liam on the school holiday program. The kids loved him. My daughter went from having no knowledge of tennis to winning a tournament at the end of the week thanks to Liam’s encouragement and guidance. We’ll be back next school holidays for sure. Give Liam a pay rise he deserves it.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place to learn tennis.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service, several times I called them and they promised to call back but nothing happened. They don’t care about their customer at all.

Positive experience: All right place with mediocre courts. The Castle Hill Tennis Academy is miles better as it has well serviced courts and seasoned staff. The food prices are typical of a canteen. Do not recommend as it very hot with no shade and mediocre courts. When I left however they were upgrading the courts so one oft eh courts may be better. They also do have smaller courts for little kids.

Positive experience: Hard court, artifical grass, mini tennis and dedicated hot shots tennis courts for the kids. This place has it all, even if some of the courts are ageing. The staff are friendly and have always been accomodating when i have made a booking. The proshop has everything you need and has come in handy when i forgot to bring my hat. The online system is quite useful, however, it would be good if they showed the court surface as part of selecting a court number, as i prefer artificial grass.

Negative experience: Called the centre twice to reserve personal lessons. Were meant to call me back to arrange the lessons. Didn't bother to call me. Waste of time

Negative experience: They seem to have a very poor management team, canceled my class didn’t notify me at all , worth to mention that I came all the way from eastern suburb for the class.
