Negative experience: I recently borrowed three rackets from iPaddle Reservoir, but only used one during my game. Despite this, the owner, Mossimo, unfairly accused me of damaging one of the rackets I didn’t even use. I found this accusation both unprofessional and baseless, especially given there was no proper process to check the rackets before or after the session. To make matters worse, Mossimo’s approach to customer service was disappointing. He arrived abruptly at the very end of our booking — during a tense tie-breaker — and insisted we leave the court immediately, even though no one had booked the court after us. There was zero flexibility or courtesy extended, and the interaction came off as rushed and dismissive rather than respectful or understanding. This lack of hospitality and poor attitude is likely one of the reasons this centre is so quiet, in stark contrast to other paddle centres around Melbourne, which are thriving thanks to a strong sense of community and positive customer experiences. Paddle is a growing sport, but for it to truly flourish, especially at local centres, owners need to foster a welcoming and fair environment. Unfortunately, this was not my experience at iPaddle Reservoir.

Fantastic experience: Looks like all the bad reviews have come from the group that paid for 4 players and expected 8 players to play. I’ve been playing at Ipadel for 3 months now and I find the place to be very enjoyable and professional at the same time. Massimo, Mario & Leo always greet us with a smile and a joke. These guys really make you feel welcome. I think people forget they have a business to run and can’t be pleasing everyone. Also if you get a chance grab a pizza after a game. Pizza are made by an authentic Italian chef. Keep up the good work boys.

Fantastic experience: IPadel is the place to be for all Padel and food aficionados. Great facilities, Courts are awesome and Massimiliano e Mario are very friendly and helpful on explaining everything you need to know. Great shop area and cafe/restaurant top notch. They have a bar where you can enjoy a coffee, and freshly filled croissant with your choise of spreads. Yummy Pistachio and Gianduia. Ginseng and Barley coffee also available. Super easy to book the court online. Place is clean spotless. A little weight and gym area in the facility and we enjoyed the ice bath and sauna as well. Best Padel place by far in Melbourne hands down.

Negative experience: Ran into unexpected events, called and try to reschedule the booking but the person on the phone, who I think is the owner, refused using his 24h cancellation policy. While I’m aware of the policy, I would expect a commercial gesture considering the price charged: $150. You have to be smart commercially and respect your customers if you want to succeed. I won’t be back and definitely advise my friend to use other Padel courts around Melbourne.

Negative experience: I rarely take the time to share my feedback, but after my experience today, I feel compelled to express my dissatisfaction. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst paddle experience I have ever had. The issues began as soon as we arrived. We were charged $10 per racket, which is significantly higher than other rental facilities where we typically pay $5—or even nothing as a token of appreciation for loyal customers. However, the person at the office today was so rude that any discussion was impossible. He claimed that the high prices were justified because $3 million had been invested in the complex. From my perspective, this might explain why the place was completely empty. Regarding the rackets, they were in terrible condition—damaged and clearly not maintained. The balls hardly bounced, and the court (number 1) had holes in the surface, making it unsafe and unpleasant to play. We had booked the court for one hour. Despite the facility being entirely deserted, the person at the office turned off the lights the moment our time was up—even though we were only one minute over to finish our game. This act was both shocking and disrespectful. I would also advise future customers not to pay extra for the watch feature that supposedly displays scores on the court’s small screen. The watches do not work at all, and it is simply a waste of $10. For a new facility, I strongly suggest that the management revisits its strategies—not only in terms of pricing but also in customer service. Investing millions of dollars in a complex means little if customers are left feeling cheated and mistreated. It may be more beneficial for the owners to invest in industries that do not require customer interactions, as the current approach is far from acceptable. As an Italian, I was ashamed to see my country’s flag displayed across these courts, as the values of hospitality and respect that my country represents were nowhere to be found in this experience. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements for future customers.

Negative experience: Extremely poor customer service from staff, the courts were in poor condition. Would not recommend to anyone interested and I suggest you look for court’s elsewhere. There also seems to be a lack of accountability from the staff in these review responses which is disappointing but not surprising. Denying that poor service was displayed instead providing remedial avenues for these customers will only jeopardise this company. It seems a vast majority of former customers were highly disappointed with the service. I suggest management take swift action and retrain your staff or find new employees as they clearly are unable to fulfill their contractual obligations.

Negative experience: Not only was the padel court in terrible condition, but the staff were shockingly rude and dismissive. It was clear that they treated certain players with more respect than others, and they seemed uncomfortable or even unfriendly toward anyone who didn’t fit a certain profile. Negative experience: Where do I even begin? iPadel is the only place I've been where I genuinely felt unwelcome and compelled to leave. From the start, the experience was unpleasant. The owner rudely scrutinized our clothing, as if deciding whether we were "worthy" of entering his establishment. This is a free country, and we were dressed in perfectly appropriate attire, yet he treated us as if we were violating some arbitrary dress code. Then, he proceeded to impose rules that seemed invented on the spot, refusing to allow more than four players on the court—not simultaneously, mind you, but even in rotating groups. While we fully respect a limit on court capacity, this bizarre restriction felt more like an attempt to exercise control than to ensure a positive experience. To make matters worse, he made offensive, racially charged remarks, insinuating that we were "acting like we’re in a zoo." Such demeaning comments have no place in a professional environment, and they were as shocking as they were inappropriate. When we finally decided enough was enough and left—with only a partial refund—the owner took it upon himself to follow us outside to continue the argument, as if the encounter inside wasn't unpleasant enough. If you value respect, a welcoming atmosphere, and basic customer service, I strongly urge you to take your padel interests elsewhere. Save yourself the stress and find a place that treats its patrons with the respect they deserve.

Negative experience: Would rate zero stars if I could. absolutely disgusting customer service from the alleged owner, my friends and I booked the maximum amount of time we could book on the Playtonic app. Upon arrival our shoes were inspected to see if they were “up to standard” for their courts. This initially caught us off guard as every other paddle establishment we played at have never worried about our shoes or attire. After that unusual interaction he then informed us that even though we had booked the court and paid we were only allowed to have 4 players play ( not at a time, in total only 4 of us could play for the entirety of the 2 hours) which then also caught us off guard as again no other establishment had cared how many people were playing as long as we had paid for the time that we were using the court. As we were playing the alleged owner turned the lights off and kicked us out and proceeded to make racist remarks such as “this isn’t melton park or a zoo” my friends and I are all of African descent. This obviously offended all of us as we did not except to be racially discriminated against on a night that was supposed to be a chill and fun night out. We then asked for a refund and he said only three of us would receive a refund and would not provide a refund for the fourth payment or the racket booking because we had “played for 30 minutes” mind you the whole time we had not even started playing as we were still processing the horrendous customer service and the way we were treated. After this racist altercation we had made our way to the carpark to figure out our next move, he then proceeded to follow us into the carpark with another staff member standing from afar trying to intimidate us, he then proceeded to instigate an argument after we had already been over the same thing and their “policies” inside. He proceeded to say that we are not welcome in his “amazing establishment” and that his facility’s were for “real” padel players and told us we were not welcome back and we made it clear to him that we did not want to be back. ( this amazing establishment has a total of 4 courts and one of them were unavailable due to a broken glass wall). This establishment and their owner are a disgrace to the sport of padel. We didn’t interact with the other staff members other than the bald man trying to intimidate us In the parking lot. I cannot express this enough, STAY AWAY. If you’re wanting to play paddle I highly recommend gam4padel in docklands or Richmond.

Regarding the number of players, we maintain a policy to limit the total number of people on the court at any given time. This helps ensure that everyone gets a fair amount of playtime and that the experience is enjoyable for all participants. This is a standard practice, and we apologize if it caused any confusion during your visit.

We are deeply concerned by the allegations of inappropriate and offensive comments, and we want to make it very clear that any form of racism or disrespectful behavior is completely unacceptable at iPadel. We take these matters extremely seriously, and we are currently investigating the situation. Our goal is to provide a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment for everyone, and we are committed to resolving any incidents that fall short of these standards.

Regarding the refund, we follow a clear policy in line with the time played and services used. We understand that this may not have been clear during your visit, and we apologize for any frustration this caused.

Negative experience: I’m deeply disappointed by our experience at this padel court. We booked in advance, yet when we arrived, the owner refused to let us play unless each person paid separately, even though we had already made a group booking through Playtomic (there was no indication or communication that every player had to pay separately, we were under the impression that you pay for the court). The entire interaction was unsettling and even felt discriminatory, as the owner was openly dismissive and disrespectful toward us. The owner further escalated the issue by coming and confronting us while spearheading his racist views (made comments about us being in a zoo because of my teammates African heritage). The owner asked to inspect our shoes to see if they were up to standard, as we walked to our court, one of the other courts had broken glass, the irony of trying to enforce standards when your courts aren’t even safe for use. Absolutely shocking experience, if you are looking for a good padel session, steer clear.

Negative experience: I recently visited iPadel with a group of friends, and I was deeply disappointed by the behavior of the owner. Without any clear reason, we were asked to leave, and the situation quickly escalated with the owner making racist comments. It was a very uncomfortable and hurtful experience. While we understand that rules need to be followed, we believe that all customers should be treated with respect and dignity. A place like iPadel should foster inclusivity and create a welcoming atmosphere, but unfortunately, that was not the case. We won’t be returning, and I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to ensure future visitors do not face the same treatment.

Negative experience: Booked a 2-hour court at iPadel Reservoir and ran into an unexpected issue. Despite paying for the court, the alleged owner informed us that each player needed to pay individually, even if we were just rotating and only 4 players were on the court at any given time. This policy surprised us, as at other padel venues we’ve played at, rotating players has never been a problem. The session was cut short because not everyone in our group had paid, even though we assumed booking the court covered this. It was a disappointing experience, and clearer communication about their unique policies would have helped avoid confusion. Not the welcoming atmosphere we expected compared to other venues. As we were leaving, the alleged owner came outside and questioned us, asking why we didn’t book 2 courts instead. At $130 plus an extra $20 for rackets, booking an additional court wasn’t practical—alternating players was our clear choice. The app clearly states that we booked a court, so this situation felt unfair. It seemed like the focus was more on squeezing extra money from us than on ensuring a good playing experience. Overall, it was a disappointing experience with unclear and strict policies compared to other venues. There was no one else waiting to use the court after we left, and we noticed a broken glass panel on one of the courts. It was clear he was more interested in getting extra money from us than providing a fair experience. Never coming here again

Negative experience: I tried to make a booking as a professional tennis coach to play Padel and support a local buisness, however they rudely denied us and told us that there facilities are too expensive to accept new customers. They asked for proof that I actually played before which I found it really rude, even though I explained to them I have played overseas before.

Myself and my mate were blown away by the facilities and overall setup of IPadel, were looking at taking out the memberships and becoming part of the furniture! Fantastic experience: I have to say I was so smacked by the hospitality shown by Massimo. He made my friends and I welcome from the moment we walked through the door. He gave me a complete tour of the facility and talked of the plans for moving forward. He offered me tips on how to best my friends in padel and most importantly he did it with a smile. I absolutely cannot wait to come again we all had a blast see you soon.
