Fantastic experience: Such great fun to play Padel! It is easier than tennis and very social as always played as doubles. Alex and his team arrange leagues, providing opponents of similar skill, so you do not even have to arrange your own games! Highly recommend!

Positive experience: The prices are a bit steep to book the racquet ball courts
Fantastic experience: Great venue and design of facilities, friendly staff and quite an inclusive and welcoming environment to be a part of. Communications are promptly answered and addressed. Pickleball and padel is a lot of fun, worth trying at least once and great to see this being offered in Canberra! It is a little pricey though. Look forward to seeing what else the club has to offer in the future.

On pricing, we totally get the comment. But when you break it down, pickleball works out to just $30 an hour, $7.50 per person with four people playing. Padel is $60 an hour, which is $15 each. Both end up being cheaper than a movie ticket, a cocktail, or even a couple of takeaway coffees. And unlike those, you’re getting exercise, competition, and a laugh with friends all rolled into one.

Positive experience: Was a fun experience and a fun game, however the cost was unjustifiable for what it is, the charge of an extra $10 for just the paddle for an hour isn’t great, but overall the courts are nice and the facility is great.
Hi Alex, thanks for your feedback. Just to clarify, our $10 racquet hire isn’t about squeezing extra dollars, it’s simply the reality of running a premium facility. The racquets are high-end carbon fibre, around $140 each, and we’re lucky to get 14 hires out of them before they’re broken, dropped, or smashed from an overzealous high five. In other words, we don’t actually make money on racquet hire, it’s there so everyone can experience the game with the proper equipment.
Of course, if you’d rather bring your own paddle, you can pick up cheaper options made of plastic at places like Target or Kmart and play away. But for those who want the best experience on court, we provide quality gear that matches the standard of the sport.
I'm not sure you could rent quality equipment for any sport in the world for under $10, whether it's golf clubs, tennis racquets, skis or bowling shoes. Hope we've managed to justify the unjustifiable, and you’ll come back and see the value in what we’re offering.
Positive experience: Amazing for paddle! Highly recommend. Pickleball courts are less than ideal due to placement next to a wall on the side of the court.
